What a joy and privilege it is to be a preacher of the glorious gospel. We are living in the most exciting days of our lives because Jesus is coming again soon. It brings a thrill to my heart as I realize, in reading the Word of God, that we are closing out a dispensation; we are on the very edge of eternity. But along with the joy is the sorrow of knowing of so many who are not ready because they have never heard or have refused this great salvation that He offers.
It breaks my heart to see a generation of young people rejecting the gospel, but it breaks my heart more to see the faces of those who are lost with no hope because they didn't have the privilege to hold a copy of the Word of God or an opportunity to hear a preacher.
I have recorded and sang hundreds of songs in the past 40 years, but one that grips my heart more than any other is "Mercy Rewrote My Live." It reminds me of what I was and where I was headed as a 21 year old rebel, mad at the world and trying everything it had to offer. I had no thought of God and no place for Him in my life. BUT GOD intervened and sent an old soul winner to get me to go hear a preacher and for the first time in my life I was faced with something I could not handle. I knew I was lost and headed straight to hell. That day I surrendered a broken life into His hands and "Mercy Rewrote My Life." He
called me to preach and said, "Go and I will be with you always."
Because of that promise I obeyed not knowing where it would lead, and for more than 40 years, He has led the way to the ends of the earth. I have preached more than 1000 crusades and revival meetings in Asia, Africa, Europe, South America, and North America.

Before the iron curtain came down we were going into Russia with the Word of God. In one trip we took 50,000 Bibles. I have preached to crowds of 40 thousand and I have preached to the house churches in China, Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia. We had the thrill of placing Bibles into the hands of those who had never seen one, much less owned one. We have had Christians fall at our feet and praise God for a copy of this blessed Book. We have preached and carried Bibles to the underground church in Russia where they had torn pages from a Bible and would pass them around.
We have traveled the Mekong River and winding trails of the Amazon River. The deathly silence of the killing fields of Cambodia will never leave me, but Jesus has been with me and has been faithful to bring us out of danger so many times. As we were arrested in Burma for distributing Bibles, there was fear but great peace. He was there. All this was possible because I obeyed and went and the friends of this ministry obeyed and sent. I will be rejoicing at the throne of God as they all receive the reward of their unselfishness.
If you have never been involved in a world wide ministry, let me say to you, "It's time to join us with your prayers and your commitment to live and give so that others may live for eternity." Time is running out. Mercy still rewrites lives. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever. To Him be all the glory!
